How Cargolink works
To use Cargolink, download the app on your smartphone. Open the app and create your profile. Now you can search for the person you want something to send to, but he/she must also be registered in the app. To send something, go to the bus station on your campus and wait for a bus to arrive. Once it arrived and you chose who to send your package to, you select the size of the locker you want to use. When you tap the button to unlock the locker, the system opens a box in the requested size. The app communicates with a microcontroller in the locker system wich triggers an electronic latch. When you close the door after placing your package in the locker, your order is automatically finished because the system knows that the lock is closed. While your package travels, you and the recipient can track it on a map, because the system has a GPS Module built in. The Bus arrives, the recipient unlocks the locker with the app, retrieves his package and closes the door.
