When my parents bought a new house to move in, I thought I might offer them a unique lamp design by myself. But I dind‘t want to just design a lamp I like, I wanted them to be involved in the process of designing it.

So my christmas present to my parents consisted of six inspirational pictures from google and three conceptional drafts. On this basis we decided a basic shape and construction.

The lamp consist of 35 Layers of violet Valchromat rings and forms a cone with an angle of 55 degrees. Four of the Layers are interrupted by translucent pieces of sandblastered plexiglas and are rotatable. That way you can individualize your lamp with those glowing lines any way you like, anytime. This interaction leads ultimately to a more concious recognition of your Lamp in daily life and you enjoy it longer.
