Navimote
Navimote enables you to easily navigate and listen to music with your smartphone while riding your bike. It is a remote for music and a display for directions, time and velocity.
Display
The Display is not covered by glass or clear plastic, but by a thin layer of colored plastic, that lets the LED light through. That way you don’t know where the display is until you turn it on. It shows where to go with an arrow, tells you how far you’re already with the ring and in the middle it shows the current time and velocity.
Controls
While riding, you can control the volume of your music and skip back and forth with the button and the ring. If you want to choose a route, change your settings or check on the battery, push the button for at least two seconds to get to the menu. You can scroll with the ring and confirm with the button.
Magnetic snapping
Navimote is mounted on the handle with an alluminium ring and two screws. The device connects to this ring with a magnetic snapping mechanism. As shown in the animation below, navimote snaps itself on the ring when you hold it close and can only be removed with a forward sliding movement.
