I bought a bedside lamp at IKEA. Apart from the socket with the bulb an the cable it was completely made of glass. I broke it, of course.

So I designed a new Lamp to diffuse the bright light of the bulb again. I took a piece of acrylic glass, warmed it up in the oven, rolled it and let it cool off. After that I sandblasted it from all sides. There was only a connection piece and a wooden cover missing after that. REKIA was born.
