The Video above shows you how our protoype works and how we tested it.

In the first phase of the project there was no coronavirus, so we planned it in four sprints. In each sprint, we wanted to build a prototype, test it, and improve it according to the feedback of our test subjects. When the Lockdown occurred, we had to replan the whole project, because we had no more access to the workshop at the university. This meant that we could not build models or do testing that requires more than three people.

Fabio developed the app with my assistance while I developed the hardware with his assistance. We had a videocall every morning. I started out by drawing a scenario, then proceeded to sketch and build in 3D for hardware and technical components. Fabio started out making a mock-up for the app with InVision, found and ordered the technical components we needed and programmed the app to be able to interact with the hardware. In the end we could build a fully functioning prototype for one locker and we tested it on about 15 people.
