These salad servers were created following the instruction to keep an eye on voluminal, plane and linear shapes. It was possible to combine shapes of different kinds, but also to use only one type. I am fascinated by the way linear shapes create surfaces and Volumes, so I chose to use only linear shapes for my pair of salad servers.

After a quick sketching phase, where I considered all three types of shapes, I knew more or less what I wanted to do. I then tried out many different ways to assemble my idea of the salad servers.

The final product shows the shape of a leaf wich is formed like a spoon at the end of it.
